A commision piece created on canvas using Indian ink and Acrylic Paint.
The piece was a creation in a way to present the overcome of grief and how death can be beautiful.
With the free will, I had I created my experience with grief and how I overcame the initial feeling of grief and found comfort in death and the beauty behind death and decay.
Within my own acceptance with death and grief, something in me was enlightened, it enlightened me more than anything I have been taught in life. It made me see death and the cycle of life in a different, clearer perspective. I got to see the beauty in life, a beauty in that period of my life I had forgotten. A beauty and fascination with death and how wonderful it can be. This piece reflects that. Death should not be something fearful but the ending of a beautiful chapter to an incredible, fulfilling book. Death is glorious and enlightens us all to appreciate life that we take advantage of so often. Deaths' beauty enlightens us all into a new wave of life, a new wave of emotion and should not be feared.
Thus, this piece being called:
"The Enlightenment of Death"
