This campaign advocates for better laws around dog licensing, training, and dog rights in Ireland. It aims to educate potential and current dog owners about their responsibilities through visually engaging posters using fun, approachable illustrations and typography. The focus is to help people understand the importance of choosing the right dog breed based on lifestyle, ensuring proper care and training, rather than just picking a dog because you want one or it looks cute.
The campaign’s goal is to remind people that dogs are not easy pets and stricter laws and education needs to be implemented. Owning a dog comes with significant responsibility, including ensuring their well-being and proper training. The message I am providing is to capture attention of dog owners and potential owners and provoke thought on responsible dog ownership which in hopes of the long run governmental change, less backyard breeding and overcrowded shelters and a better education of what dog is suited for you.
Bad dog, Bad owner.
